# werner.ddns.net — x402 pay-per-request APIs

> Three small HTTP APIs that sell live data per request with the x402 protocol
> (HTTP 402 micropayments, USDC on Solana mainnet). No account or API key is
> needed: request the endpoint, pay, get the JSON. Settlement runs through the
> PayAI facilitator.

## Paid endpoints (HTTP GET, JSON)

- [/price](https://werner.ddns.net/price): Live crypto prices from Coinbase (BTC, ETH, XRP, SOL, ZEC, HYPE, DOGE, LINK, ADA, XLM, SHIB) in USDC. Optional query `?pair=BTC-USDC` (returns all pairs if omitted). Costs 0.001 USDC per request.
- [/weather](https://werner.ddns.net/weather): Current weather and active weather warnings for Germany and Austria. Query `?plz=50667` (German 5-digit) or `?plz=1010` (Austrian 4-digit), or `?lat=..&lon=..`. Costs 0.001 USDC per request.
- [/staking](https://werner.ddns.net/staking): Live Solana staking and epoch data (epoch progress, inflation, top validators with estimated net APY). Optional `?validator=`, `?staked=&commission=`, `?wallet=`. Costs 0.01 USDC per request.

## How to pay (x402 v2)

1. `GET` an endpoint without payment. It answers `HTTP 402` with a base64
   `payment-required` header describing the accepted terms:
   scheme `exact`, network `solana:5eykt4UsFv8P8NJdTREpY1vzqKqZKvdp`,
   asset USDC (`EPjFWdd5AufqSSqeM2qN1xzybapC8G4wEGGkZwyTDt1v`),
   amount, `payTo`, and the facilitator fee payer.
2. Sign the payment and retry the same request with the proof in the
   `X-PAYMENT` request header.
3. On success the endpoint returns `HTTP 200` with the data and a
   `payment-response` header.

Any x402 v2 client (e.g. the Coinbase x402 SDK) handles this automatically.
